Soak the petal in raw milk for about two to three hours and gently mash the petals in the milk to make a paste. Apply this paste on your lips and keep it for about twenty minutes. Rinse your lips it with cold water. Do this every day for about a week. This treatment is effective as rose petals contain vitamin E, which has skin nourishing properties, and milk contains lactic acid, which helps in exfoliating dead cells.

Oils
One of the simple traditional treatments to get rid of dry lips is using oils like virgin coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, and castor oil. Take any of these oils and blend with an essential oil. Butter
Butters like organic cocoa butter, peanut butter, shea butter, yogurt, and clarified butter are great for getting rid of dry lips. Apply a small amount of any butter mentioned above on your lips and leave it on overnight. However, if you plan to apply peanut butter or yogurt ensure that instead of overnight, you leave it only for five to ten minutes and then rinse it. Doing this every night will show visible results in a few days. These ingredients contain fatty acids that help in nourishing dehydrated and dry lips.

Lemon
Lemon is one of the most popular ingredients in the beauty and skincare industry. It does wonders to the skin when used with care and same applies to the lips. To cure dry lips with the help of lemon, all you need is one teaspoon of lemon juice, half teaspoon of castor oil, and one teaspoon of honey. Mix all the three ingredients, and apply the mixture as a mask on your lips. Keep the mask on for about ten minutes and then rinse it off. For effective results, repeat this procedure regularly for about 7 to 10 days. Lemon acts as a natural exfoliant. which helps in getting rid of the dryness, while honey helps in protecting and nourishing the lips from harmful free radicals.
