AAA roadside assistance comes in handy if your car is totaled and you are stranded in the middle of the freeway. Depending on your level of membership, AAA will tow the vehicle to your home or a garage, whichever is the nearest. They can help you tow your vehicle to a destination up to 200 miles.

Miscellaneous roadside assistance
There can be multiple reasons other than a discharged car battery or a breakdown that can leave you stranded on the side of a road. AAA offers roadside assistance for miscellaneous services like tire replacement, locksmith services, and emergency fuel delivery as well.

All you need to do is log in to their app and raise your query or simply call on their toll-free number that is open 24/7 for assistance.

Level of membership
AAA roadside assistance offers three levels of membership. The Basic service is around $6.58 per month. It offers four roadside assistance annually, with towing up to 5 miles, fuel delivery, battery jumpstart or replacement, flat tire service, bicycle assistance, and emergency extraction.

The Plus service is at $9.50 per month, and it offers everything in basic service plus towing service of 100 miles, two trucks for extraction, and $350 trip interruption protection.

The Premier service costs $12.08, and it offers everything included in the Plus service. Additionally, it offers towing for up to 200 miles, $1500 trip interruption protection, free international guidebooks, complimentary rental car with towing facility, annual Carfax report, and free travel booking (does not include airline booking).
